Features
This island is unique in that it has two separate Secret Caves. The first cave, which can be accessed by crawling inside the small structure found in the middle of the island, contains an underground passage hiding a Piece of Heart, a Joy Pendant, many ChuChus, and a Purple Rupee. The second cave is accessible only after Link collects the Hookshot, since it is located in one of the island's "fingers". Inside it the young hero gains, after defeating numerous Wizzrobes, an orange Rupee. Also, there is a second Piece of Heart that can be obtained from the bottom of the sea by using one of the Treasure Charts found inside the Tower of the Gods.
Trivia
- Interestingly, the first cave is encased inside what looks like the layer of a giant Easter egg; however, Link can enter it through a small hole hidden behind the ground's grass.
- According to the description from his figurine, Doc Bandam sometimes visits the island to look for ingredients to make potions.
- Pawprint Isle is the first optional island Link can visit.
