The Sparring Hall is a location in Skyward Sword. It is located on Skyloft to the right of the Knight Academy, presumably owned by Eagus.

Overview

Visiting the Sparring Hall is required very early in the game, as Link must enter to obtain the Practice Sword. After doing this, Eagus will teach Link how to do directional sword slashes, the Spin Attack and the Fatal Blow. Once Link has obtained a Shield, Eagus will offer to teach Link how to use the shield to defend himself from attacks, and how to Shield Bash.

Link may return here later in the game as part of the Lumpy Pumpkin sidequest, to deliver Eagus some Pumpkin Soup. Even later in the game, Fledge's minigame Pumpkin Pull will take place in front of the Sparring Hall. Link may also use his Hook Beetle to grab a Gratitude Crystal on top of a wooden beam at the ceiling.
