Skating Rink
The Skating Rink is a location in Spirit Tracks.[1][note 1]
Features and Overview
As its name suggests, the Skating Rink has a skating rink, which consists of an icy, slippery floor with several turns. Across this rink are three locked entrances that can only be opened by pressing a Floor Switch, and behind each door is a Treasure Chest. There are three Floor Switches that pertain to three different levels: Amateur, Pro, and Champion. By pressing one of those Switches, the door that belongs to that certain Switch will open for a limited time. Link must reach the door before it closes to be able to reach the Treasure Chest and open its contents.[1] The trick lies in that, for example, the Amateur course has less turns and a shorter distance to travel than the Champion course. As such, Link must time his spins correctly so as to not make such a wide turn and cut down in his time.
The rewards for completing each of the courses are as follow:
- Amateur: Big Gold Rupee
- Pro: Random rare Treasure, such as a Palace Dish or Ancient Gold Piece
- Champion: Alchemy Stone

Notes
- ↑ The Skating Rink was referred to as the Slippery Station Dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks—PRIMA Official Game Guide by Prima Games.[2] However, as this contradicts the name given in-game, it is not considered Canon.
