In OoT, Gohma Larvae are first found hatching from eggs which drop from the ceiling Inside the Deku Tree. At the end of the dungeon, Queen Gohma will hatch more to fight for her during the battle. These arachnids appear more frequently in MQ. In this version of the game, they appear in Dodongo's Cavern as well.

In TP, Gohma Larvae, also known as Young Gohmas, appear in Temple of Time. They have somewhat more developed forms, having four legs, but they are still easy to fend off. Baby Gohmas are an even smaller version of the Young Gohma. These spiders appear as small round bodies with tiny protruding legs and a single eye on the front. They are seen in parts of the Temple of Time and travel in huge swarms. Taking them out can become troublesome as they run away continuously. If L-targeting is used to target a single one, other ones will come from behind and do damage. Once Link obtains the Dominion Rod, using a statue to defeat Baby Gohmas becomes easier. They also hatch from Gohma Eggs when Link encounters the boss of the Temple of Time, Armogohma. They behave differently though, and instead of running away, they will attempt to swarm Link as a distraction to give Armogohma enough time to release her laser-beam attack upon him. They will also try to protect Armogohma when she changes into her eyeball form.

Baby Gohmas are enemies in Twilight Princess.[1]

Characteristics

Baby Gohma appear in the Temple of Time in Twilight Princess. They can be found traveling in huge swarms, running away from Link when he gets close to them. If one of them is targeted, the other ones will attack from behind. Once Link obtains the Dominion Rod, he can use the statue's hammer to defeat them easily. During the battle with Armogohma, they hatch from Gohma Eggs. They also behave differently, as instead of running away, they attempt to swarm Link as Armogohma charges its laser beam attack. They also try to protect Armogohma's eye when its body is destroyed.
