Suhni

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

Suhni is a character in Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch.[2]

Biography

Suhni is one of Mamasha's and Papahl's five children.[1] He is one of the Quadruplets and a member of the Quadruplet Family, all of whom live in the Quadruplets House. With the exception of his baby sibling, Suhni and his brothers look almost identical to each other, a fact that sometimes confuses their mother.[3]

Before Link collects his Sword, Suhni stands outside the Trendy Game shop. He advises Link to use the System screen if he wants to Save. After explaining to him how to access the System screen, he tells the hero not to ask what he means and says that he is just a child.[4]

If Link wins the Yoshi Doll from the Trendy Game shop Suhni will be waiting for him outside, where he will explain that he and his brothers have been trying to win it forever as their mother is desperate to have one.[5]

If Link speaks to Suhni he will apparently ask him how long they he and the other residents have been living on the island, a question Suhni will not understand, stating that the concept of 'when' makes his head hurt.[6]

Nomenclature

Suhni's name is a pun on "sonny", as he is a young boy.
