The Master Trials

The Master Trials is the first downloadable content pack for Breath of the Wild, released on June 30, 2017. It is available as part of the game's Expansion Pass.
Overview
After purchasing the DLC, Master Mode can be accessed from the Title Screen and Link can also review his journey using Hero's Path Mode by pressing 
while the Sheikah Slate's Map is open. Ten metallic Treasure Chest containing Armor appear around Hyrule. Misko's EX Journal, Super Rumor Mill V1, and Super Rumor Mill V2 also appear at the Outpost Ruins, Woodland Stable, and South Akkala Stable, respectively. Link can unlock six new Side Quests after leaving the Great Plateau and one more is unlocked after obtaining the Master Sword.
Side Quests
- EX Trial of the Sword allows Link to increase the Master Sword's power; after the Trial of the Sword, the Sword will permanently retain its powered-up state with 60 Attack and 188 Durability.
- EX Strange Mask Rumors rewards Link with the Korok Mask.
- EX Teleportation Rumors! rewards Link with the Travel Medallion.
- EX Treasure: Ancient Mask rewards Link with Majora's Mask.
- EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes rewards Link with Tingle's Outfit.
- EX Treasure: Twilight Relic rewards Link with Midna's Helmet.
- EX Treasure: Phantasma rewards Link with the Phantom Equipment.
