:Thanks, Caleb. It's pretty relieving to finally get some sort of closure. I just didn't feel like things could ever be right until this dark chapter of Zelda Wiki's history was told. No one else who witnessed it had come forward with the truth of what happened. And it hurt that all anyone knew of me were lies spread by my tormentors and my legacy had been systematically erased.
:I do take comfort seeing everything I did, including the big ideas taken from me, had a significant, lasting impact the wiki still benefits from to this day. Even if no one remembers. — {{:User:Emma/sig|~}} 15:30, 25 December 2023 (UTC)

An Apology

Hi Emma,

On behalf of the Zelda Wiki staff I am here to formally apologize for the abuse that you suffered at the hands of former staff members, as you described on your user page.

Though no currently active sysops were on the team when these events took place, we nonetheless inherit the legacy of those who ran this wiki before us—the good and the bad. It is therefore up to us to own up to what they've done. This apology is long overdue.

We are deeply sorry for the pain they've caused you. Thank you for sharing your story. PhantomCaleb (talk) 20:32, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
