To Do's

  • The To-do list has been officially moved to Castle Town. (Is this really a to-do? Whatever.)
  • We're missing a bunch of articles. Bunches of articles you might not have known existed. Have a look at the Wanted Pages page and see what needs to be created, and get to making those articles! The wiki loves you for it.

Pieces of Heart are helpful in the Zelda universe, and they're helpful at Zelda Wiki.org. This week's Piece of Heart: How do you make a userbox for your user page?

Adam has just the solution.

To create a new userbox:

  1. First, choose a name. This should always be {{Template:User xxxx}} (where xxxx is your description)
  2. To create it, just edit any page (such as the Sandbox), type {{Template:User xxxx}} and preview. This will give you a red link to your desired userbox template.
  3. Then, just copy and paste the code from any other existing userbox. Substitute a new image, text, HTML colour codes, and usage instructions.

Community Announcements

  • Castle Town has gone live! Feel free to look at it the way it is, or leave some feedback about it in Hyrule Castle. If there's anything you'd like to see in Castle Town, all you have to do is ask! We're still bundling ideas together.
  • Thanks to everybody who worked so hard on the game pages. We really have some in-depth info now. Keep it up! It really is incredible.
  • We (the staff) will be reading what goes on in The Heart Container and then posting about special goings-on out here in the Town. So, if we see a project going on that deserves attention or needs some more volunteers, you might see it end up posted in the box below.

There're already things happening over there, so get in and collaborate! It seems a small project has just started to merge select pages together. The following pages have been brought up for discussion:

All of these are candidates to be merged. However, it needs community discussion, and then community input. Head on over to The Container and help out.
