The Lynna Item Shop is a location in Oracle of Ages.[1] Found in present-age Lynna City, it is run by Stockwell. The shop consists of two floors, the second of which can only be reached by travelling between the past and present ages, using the Harp of Ages.

Features and Overview

First Floor

The first floor, which is the main floor of the Lynna Item Shop, is available at the very beginning of the game. However, the shopkeeper will only start selling Bombs after the player has obtained them from Queen Ambi. In a Linked Game, the Shop will also sell a Gasha Seed, and the Shield will only appear after buying it. In addition, the Strange Flute can be purchased here after completing Moonlit Grotto. Buying it here will lead to the acquisition of Dimitri's Flute later on, henceforth making Dimitri Link's partner. The flute disappears from the shop if Link leaves for Symmetry City without it or acquires it at the Shooting Gallery instead.

Second Floor

The second floor is a hidden section of the Shop that can only be accessed by using the Tune of Currents or the Tune of Ages to teleport from the past to the present into the hidden area. This section of the store originally sells the L-2 Ring Box, a Gasha Seed, and a Piece of Heart. After all these items are bought, the store will restock with a second, more expensive Gasha Seed and a Magic Ring. After all these items are purchased, Stockwell will renovate the second floor to host the Treasure Chest Game.[3]

Trivia

  • Stockwell, the proprietor of the shop, also runs the Advance Shop in Lynna Village in the past. This would seem to be impossible, as there are several centuries between the Past and the Present.
  • If Link attempts to exit the shop with an item that he hasn't paid for, Stockwell will rush towards Link and push him away from the door to prevent him from leaving.[4]
