Option to Change Voice Language is a Downloadable Content pack for the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild.

Overview

The Option to Change Voice Language pack provides the option to switch in-game dialogue to languages other than the one set to default, including ones not present on a given Wii U's regional console.[1] The DLC does not include support for Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), and Korean languages, which were added exclusively to the Nintendo Switch version in update 1.5.0. It was released on May 1, 2017, but it is now unavailable since the closure of the Nintendo eShop in 2023.[citation needed][2]

Since the Nintendo Switch is not region locked, all of the language options are available immediately or through updates, which meant that the Language Pack DLC was not needed.
