Bonuses
If both this DLC pack and Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 were purchased, the player gained access to 8 new alternate colors of both Yoshi and Shy Guy. The player gained access as soon as the packs were purchased, so if both packs were pre-ordered starting August 27, 2014, the player could use these colors right away, before the release of either pack. CPU players only used the regular green Yoshi and red Shy Guy, and only if no human player chose Yoshi or Shy Guy.
