Birthplace: The Forest Haven
One of the Korok forest spirits
After the annual ceremony in the Forest Haven, Rown flies off to a distant part of the world to sow tree seeds and raise new patches of forest.
He is responsible for the forest on an island four squares west and four squares north of the Forest Haven.

Rown is a Korok who lives in the Forest Haven. Before the Forest Ceremony, Rown stands on a ledge with an arrow of grass pointing to the exit to the Forbidden Forest. After the Forest Ceremony, Rown goes to the Mother and Child Isles to plant new Trees.

Nomenclature
Koroks in The Wind Waker seem to be named after trees. The name Rown and his German name, Sorbus, are derived from Sorbus, which is known as Rowan. His Japanese, European French, Italian, and European Spanish names are derived from Gonystylus, the wood of which is referred to as ramin.
Rown shares his Japanese name with Blossom from Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.
