Three Noble Attributes of Courage
The Three Noble Attributes of Courage are the distinguishing features said to be possessed by the heroes of Hytopia.[1]
Location and Uses
A Hytopian prophecy foretells of the Tri Force Heroes, a trio of adventurers who will bring perpetual peace and style to the kingdom.[2] They are identifiable as possessing the Three Noble Attributes of Courage: their pointed ears, sideburns, and side-parted hair. These are all features of the Links, thus making them suitable candidates to be the legendary heroes.
Madame Couture's Apprentice notices Link's ears and hair, and sends him to meet Sir Combsly inside Hytopia Castle to become a hero.[3] Sir Combsly also recognizes that Link possesses the Three Noble Attributes of Courage, and recruits him into the Witch-Hunting Brigade to free Hytopia and Princess Styla from the curse of Lady Maud.[4]
Trivia
- The combination of these three features is not exclusive to the Links. Several characters throughout the series also possess these attributes, such as Princess Zelda from The Wind Waker.
