The Letter of Introduction is an Item in Oracle of Ages.[1]

Location and Uses

The Letter of Introduction is given to Link by the Graceful Goron's friend in exchange for the Lava Juice when Link shows him the Old Mermaid Key.[2] The letter must be shown to the Graceful Goron, who will give Link his Mermaid Key, providing he can successfully complete the Goron Dance.[3] The Mermaid Key will allow Link to enter Mermaid's Cave, the sixth dungeon of the game. However, to complete the dungeon, Link will also need the Old Mermaid Key, which is obtained in a similar fashion to the Mermaid Key.
