* Have at least 2 1-handed weapons.
* A "replacer" weapon/shield/bow for each weapon/shield/bow wished to duplicate (for duplicating weapon/shield/bows)|instructions=For duping materials:
# Remove any nearby Hudson signs near the door on the outside.
# Place a steering stick in the door inside the house. Then walk outside. The steering stick should become invisible when Link goes about 2 meters away from the door to save on game resource. It is not deleted, rather it is in a suspended state, also known as "culled".
# Come close to the Steering stick so it becomes visible, then use Ultrahand and place it so that Link is at the table and the Steering stick in the doorway.
# Switch to the Fuse ability, then press Minus button and, watch any memory (this will advance the game by 1 frame). Skip, and after it ends, press B to resume the game, and immediately mash the Y button (you must have an unfused melee weapon). The game will try to fuse an invisible steering stick to the sword.
# Go to the door, and quickly open the ability menu, and select Recall. Press Y and right D-pad at the same time. This will cause a fuse entanglement (attachment object is not attached in the overworld, but have properties as if it were). Link's fuse animation should appear during the freeze. Now select a different one-handed weapon (that isn't fused).
# If done properly, the steering stick should be dropped next to Link. Step on to the stick (walk onto it, not control it).
# Press right on the D-pad and then drop the fused steering stick weapon (as displayed in the menu). As you press the X button to drop, quickly press the A button to control the steering stick. If done properly, Link will fall through the ground and into the water out of bounds. Immediately mash B to get out of it, swim to an area where a piece of triangle of the water slopes upwards. It should void out link, respawning him back to where the steering stick is at.
# Pick up the fused steering stick weapon (Link becomes part of the culled steering stick). This weapon is now part of a cull-able object like the steering stick. The game treats it as if the object is non-existent, which can cause some animations of Link to not work properly.
# Place another steering stick, and hop on. This will re-enable Link to open the rune wheel ability.
# Fuse the glitched steering stick to your shield. Then go back to the door, and drop the fused steering stick weapon inside.
# Hold an apple, then slowly move to the left side of the door (facing towards the door from outside).
# At this point, Link may get culled along with the fuse-entangled object inside the house. If this happens, watch a memory and move again. Repeat until you reach the bottom of the stairs.
# The apple may automatically drop onto the ground. Now pause, and unhold the apple. Now hold a single Bird Egg. Now without unpausing, watch a memory. Skip and now unpause the game. The egg must drop to the ground, if not, watch a memory and repeat until egg drops.
# After the egg drops, The game still thinks Link is holding an egg in his hands, when viewing the Materials inventory. Press Left on the D-pad and select another shield, and watch another memory. Exit the pause screen and return to the door where you glitched the steering stick. Drop the invisible egg between the door and the red colored block (prevents the wind from blowing it away).
# Hold another egg, and select any item you wish to duplicate after the egg. Unpause and items will start spawning in the area between the door and the block.
# Open the inventory again, and decrease and increase the item you are holding to duplicate (notice the held item does not disappear). You can now repeat this to continue duping.
To dupe weapons and shields, the steps are the same until fuse entanglement occurs. After placing the steering stick inside the house and activating fuse, equip a sword and shield:
# Watch a memory, skip, B, and then immediately mash Y. To know if done successfully, watch 2 memories in a row without unpausing, press plus, then switch your current weapon to another, watch another memory, skip. Afterwards, unpause the game and the Steering Stick should be placed next to Link. If not repeat this step. Additionally, you can also just mash Y when first watching a memory
# Now step on the control stick (not controlling it yet), open the inventory, drop the fuse-entangled weapon (have a steering stick attacked on the weapon despite not so on the overworld), exit the menu and immediately press A to get on the steering stick. You'll fall through the ground, mash B immidiately, and swim to the aformentioned piece of water tile that is sloped upwards (or just let your stamina run out).
# After you respawn, pick up the weapon you just dropped and place another steering stick and get on it to unlock the ability wheel.
# The glitched steering stick at this point is immobile due to the fuse entanglement, to be able to move this, fast travel and return. The steering stick will not unload due to the game thinking it is part of Link. Use Ultrahand and place the steering stick back inside the house.
# Drop the fuse-entangled weapon facing the door. Then use Ultrahand and have it placed between the door and the red box.
# Equip the weapon/shield/bow to be duplicated. Then slowly go to the table next to Rhondson, making sure that Link's back is facing the door. If Link is culled, then this is done successfully.
#.Open the inventory, and equip an item to be "replaced" in the process to be duplicated. Exit the menu to render them, reopen the menu, and drop the items you need to "replaced".
# Press Minus, and watch a memory. Upon closing the menu, those replacer items are now the items you wanted to dupe. To pick them up, watch another memory to uncull Link temporarily (if fails, watch again), walk to the door to have Link remain unculled.
# Now pick up the "transformed" weapons/shields/bows. To duplicate more, repeat the last 3 steps.
Note: The attachment of the duplicated items will also duplicate as well.|notes=* Bombs, Brightbloom Seeds, and other items that explode or becomes a non-collectible entity will not trigger on impact.}}

While many of these glitches have been tested by editors, we cannot promise that these glitches won't harm your game data or game console. We ask that you please read the Glitch Disclaimer Notes before attempting any of these glitches.
The following is a large list of all the known glitches that can be performed in Tears of the Kingdom. Each glitch will come with instructions on what the glitch does, how to perform the glitch, and if the glitch has been patched (i.e. fixed) or not.
Duplication Glitches
Some of the glitches relating to dropping weapons, shields, and zonai devices is due to a way how the game handles dropping items into the overworld from the inventory menu (this also includes the mini menu). When Link drops an item from the pause menu and unpauses, across multiple frames, the game attempts to find a place to spawn the item without placing it inside a solid object or terrain. When the game is then quickly unpause and paused again and another equipped item is dropped, this interrupts the process handling the placing the first object on the map.

Instructions Place them near the wall, stand on top of one of the rocks, and do the Save/Load Duplication glitch with any weapon. Load the autosave from the prologue. You'll find the weapon you dropped on the stairs leading to the Ganondorf cutscene. Pick it up to access to the inventory. Now, do the Save/Load Duplication glitch again with the Master Sword here, and load the file from inside the shrine. The glitched Master Sword will now be present near the Fire Fruit trees, and can be collected like any other weapon.

Instructions 1021, -2261, -0156 Equip a multishot bow Then fuse the material you want to clone to an arrow, and shoot it upwards into the tunnel you came from. If done correctly, the arrow should despawn mid flight, leaving the materials hanging in mid air. Just go over to them to make them fall to the ground, and collect them afterwards to get as many copies of that material as arrows shot using the bow.

|
In both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, watching a memory causes the game to advance by 1 frame, despite being in a pause screen. This causes things in the overworld to perform actions: Enemies moving and/or attacking, NPCs moving around, etc. Certain actions like cutscene, triggers and Link taking damage are disabled since such events should not occur during a pause screen.

Instructions Then, take the enemy's HP, and divide it by the number of damage your weapon does, taking into account any bonuses added by food or armour, if there's a decimal, round up. Watch that many memories and unpause, and the enemy should drop dead the second Link exits the menu. Each time the memory is being watch, a damage is registered to the enemy. The same can be done with a bow and arrow by shooting an arrow at an enemy, pausing right before it hits and watching the relevant number of memories. This will let Link defeat almost anything with a single arrow, provided he watches another memories in the process.
