He is known for his interest in insects. Currently, in an attempt to finance his dream of an insect haven on this island, he runs a bug-catching game.

Strich is one of the students of the Knight Academy in Skyloft. Alongside his friends Groose and Cawlin, they have a reputation for being bullies.
