Costume

Non-Canon Information

Costumes are skins in Hyrule Warriors that can be applied to playable Warriors to make them appear different. They are usually recolors of a character's standard outfit, although some Costumes feature entirely different outfits. Costumes can be accessed from the weapon selection screen after selecting a Warrior, by pressing the X-Button which will bring up the Costumes screen. New Costumes can be unlocked either by completing certain requirements in Legend or Adventure Modes, usually by winning a battle under a certain rank in the latter, or through purchasing and downloading DLC Packs.

All Costumes, DLC or otherwise, also appear in Hyrule Warriors Legends. New Costumes appearing in Hyrule Warriors Legends can also be transfrered to Hyrule Warriors.
