{{Wind Waker Dungeons}}

Revision as of 17:27, 5 January 2010

Template:Dungeons A foreboding isle in the The Great Sea lying adjacent to Forest Haven. Formerly the home of the Kokiri in an older era, it is now the dwelling place of many monsters and the Koroks. Makar fell into the woods one day while flying over it despite the warnings of Great Deku Tree not to do so.

It is the lair to the evil creature known as Kalle Demos, a giant carnivorous plant that swallows Makar, holding him captive and forcing Link to fight against it.

This dungeon's prize is the Boomerang, a stylish weapon used primarily to stun, or otherwise kill smaller enemies. It can also be used to destroy ropes, gather out-of-reach items, and target switches. Like in all other dungeons, the Boomerang is used primarily to dispel the boss, Kalle Demos.

Navigating this dungeon also requires extensive use of Magic and the Deku Leaf.

Many believe the woods to be the more evil parts of the Lost Woods from Ocarina of Time. Others believe them to be the remains of Kokiri Forest, as evidenced by the many remains of their characteristic tree homes. Another common belief is that this dungeon is the remains of the Great Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time.
