The Mad Bomber is an enemy in Link's Awakening.[1]

Characteristics

The Mad Bomber is one of Prince Richard's servants that had went berserk. He can be found hiding in deep holes within the courtyard area of Kanalet Castle, and tosses Bombs from a distance. He will choose a hole at random and throw a Bomb quickly each time. The Bombs will explode fast, and may knock Link into pits as well as cause damage, making him a dangerous foe. To defeat this quick and agile soldier, Link must anticipate which hole he will appear in, and strike him as soon as he pops out. After causing enough damage Link will defeat him. Doing so will earn Link one of the five Golden Leaves that he must acquire for Prince Richard. Once defeated, the Mad Bomber will not return.
