A solemn vow can be granted to all five avatars when you exchange 4 "Sage´s Will" in a goddess statue, that will increase the attack and speed of the avatar but the ability cooldown will remain the same. There are 20 Sage´s Will scattered all around hyrule some of them will be guarded by Gleeoks so it is recommended that the players prepares in order to battle them.

Sage Avatars are characters in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Biography

Sage Avatars are projections of the vows made by the Sages to help Link fight Demon King Ganondorf.[2][3][4][5] They allow Link to call on an individual Sage's power. The Sage Avatars are nearly identical to their respective Sages, with the only difference being their translucent blue bodies and glowing white eyes. A Sage's Secret Stone can also be seen on Sage Avatars. After being upgraded, Sage Avatars appear to have a yellow-green sheen.

As Link travels, Sage Avatars will follow behind him. When in the presence of Enemies, Sage Avatars will automatically begin to attack and defend Link. By approaching a Sage Avatar, Link is able to activate a Sage's ability. Sage Avatars can be activated and disabled by interacting with their respective vows in the Inventory.[1] Even if they are active, Sage Avatars will not appear inside towns.

Sage Avatars are capable of the following:

By collecting four Sage's Wills, Link is able to upgrade a Sage's vow at a Goddess Statue.[6] When this is done, their respective Sage Avatar will have an increased attack speed.
