The Deplian Badlands are a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Deplian Badlands are a barren landscape in the Eldin Mountains range. The Deplian Badlands are littered with dead Trees and volcanic soil, leaving the land unfit to bear any significant vegetation. The Deplian Badlands lead eastward up a slope. At the top of this slope rest some unnamed ruins, which bear several dead Trees and one large, living Tree. Atop the lone Tree is a Pinwheel, which will spawn five Balloons throughout the surrounding ruins when approached. Destroying these Balloons will cause a Korok to appear. Ore Deposits can be found north and south of these ruins.

At the base of the slope at Deplian Badlands' eastern border, Link can find a Magnesis-themed Korok puzzle. Completing the puzzle will cause a Korok to appear, who will then grant Link a Korok Seed for finding him.[3]
