Sacred Tears are Items in Skyward Sword.[1][name references needed]
Location and Uses
The Sacred Tears are found within the Silent Realm of each respective region. The Tears of Farore are found in Farore's Silent Realm, the Tears of Din in Din's Silent Realm, the Tears of Nayru in Nayru's Silent Realm, and Hylia's Sacred Tears in the Goddess's Silent Realm. To leave a Silent Realm and obtain a new Item required to locate the Sacred Flames and later the Triforce, Link must collect 15 Sacred Tears to be stored in the Spirit Vessel. However, Earth and Sky Guardians patrol the area and chase after Link. As such, he must use the Sacred Tears to stun the creatures for 90 seconds while he continues to look for the rest of the Sacred Tears.[2] If Link is spotted by one of the Guardians, the remaining Tears will shoot a light into the sky to reveal their locations until one is collected. This effect can be duplicated by collecting a Light Fruit, which lasts for 30 seconds.[3]
