Article renaming
-Sigh- Okay so while I was researching a little more on BS-X Broadcasting System on wikipedia, I find that the male and female characters did indeed star in their own "game" (more of a menu set up actually). However it seems we've been mislead on something, the two characters are not the mascot characters of the BS-X Broadcasting System. The actual mascots are supposed to be some satellite dish and TV called Satebô and Parabô.
Meaning the boy and girl characters are not mascots. Meaning, what the heck are we going to call this article then? <_< We can't call them "mascots" since they're not. The Goron Moron 22:36, 2 January 2012 (EST)
- I know there should be proper research into this manner, but if all else fails, I suggest using "avatar". In fact, that whole "menu set up" bit might suggest such usage to be appropriate...--Shiningpikablu252 22:39, 2 January 2012 (EST)

- Mascot is quite false, so I suggest we go with "BS-X Avatar" or "BS-X Hero" or even just merge this page with the Hero of Light page and go with that as a title. Fizzle 05:56, 3 January 2012 (EST)
- We cannot merge it with "Hero of Light" because the avatar characters also appeared in BS The Legend of Zelda and were given no such title in that. I do like "BS-X Avatar" though, since I believe these characters may be playable avatars in many other Stallaview games though I still have to research that. But I think "BS Avatar" may be more simpler, especially since the Stallaview Zelda game articles we have refer to them by "BS" and not "BS-X". The Goron Moron 15:45, 3 January 2012 (EST)

- I don't like it. For one, the avatars also appear in Inishie no Sekiban as well, and may have also appeared in a possible 4th BS title. Second, the name seems a bit long. I like BS Avatars or BS-X Avatars, like how Fizzle suggested. The Goron Moron 21:50, 4 January 2012 (EST)
- Heh, it's hardly long compared to some of our other article titles, like Shipping in The Legend of Zelda Universe or Technology in The Legend of Zelda Universe. I didn't mean for it to come off as ONLY pertaining to the first BS Zelda Avatars, since BS The Legend of Zelda is also a part of the title of Inishie no Sekiban, so it can refer to both. - Came across this same thing with the name, surprised we didn't go with that rename yet with this discussion having happened 4 years ago. Should we just go ahead with "BS (Zelda) Avatars" or some other name? PPLToast (talk) 14:52, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
- Well that's the thing, you yourself who started the whole topic pointed out that the boy and girl aren't the mascots but rather the satellite and satellite dish. (Not to mention the human "mascots" are unrelated to the Satellaview system itself whose mascots the two satellite things are along with the BS-X game, so moving the page to that would be wrong). I'd personally suggest "BS-X Avatar" as the name unless we wanna go the "Boy (BS-X)" route which'd be dumb. PPLToast (talk) 13:27, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Okay that's true then, about Satebô and Parabô. Satellaview Avatars might be better though for this page. I think in this case it is actually better to refer to the actual system itself than BS-X, since they appear in more titles than just the download hub world. - Midoro (T C) 21:22, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
