The Town Shooting Gallery Guy runs the Town Shooting Gallery in East Clock Town. He is proud of his interior decorating,[1] but is also quick to anger if customers refuse to play his Mini-Game.[3]
He will not let Link play if he is wearing a Mask that interferes with his vision.[4] Link can play while wearing the Bunny Hood and Postman's Hat, however. He does not have a unique reaction to many Masks. While Link is wearing Kafei's Mask, he will report that he hasn't seen him.[5] If spoken to with the Captain's Hat equipped, he will be startled and ask Link to remove it.[6] He will also completely ignore Link if he tries to speak with him with the Stone Mask equipped.[7]
The Town Shooting Gallery Guy will briefly mistake Link for the Skull Kid if he speaks to him as Deku Link, remarking that the Skull Kid and a Fairy caused trouble for him before.[8] Upon seeing Goron Link, he will compliment Link's physique.[9] He also recognizes Mikau, the guitarist for The Indigo-Go's, but is unable to place him when spoken to as Zora Link.[10] In each case however, he will turn Link away as none of these forms can use a Bow.
