Cooking Pots,(BotW)[1][name references needed] also known as Pots,(FPTRR)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series. Cooking Pots go unnamed in Twilight Princess.

Location and Uses

Ocarina of Time

Cooking Pots can be found in Houses and within the tent in Gerudo Valley in the Adult Era. They do not serve any purpose.

Twilight Princess

Coro uses a Cooking Pot outside his House. Inside the Cooking Pot is a vile soup that will drain Link's health if consumed.

Skyward Sword

Cooking Pots appear in Monster Strongholds. Link can cause a Heart to appear by rolling into a Cooking Pot.

Breath of the Wild

Cooking Pots are crude stone cookware that rest on a metallic base over a Campfire. Cooking with them allows allow Link to make more complex recipes than with a simple Campfire as they can hold up to five Materials. Combining Materials will produce more elaborate Food, which in turn can grant superior effects when consumed, such as any possible combination of greater health restoration, additional Hearts and supplementary status effects. Mixing incompatible ingredients will yield failed Foods, such as Dubious Food.

Other than allowing Link to cook, Cooking Pots function like a regular Campfire. Link is capable of Sitting at Cooking Pots to pass time to Morning, Noon or Night.[3] Cooking Pots tend to be lit, though unlit Cooking Pots may appear, requiring Link to ignite the Wood beneath to use them. Cooking Pots exposed to Rain are rendered unusable until it stops. When in proximity to active Cooking Pots, Link's Temperature will increase slightly.
