Herald is a horse featured in the book The Shadow Prince. He serves as Charles's main method of transportation;[1] however, the horse is of little significance in the plot.
In one of the many endings of the book, Link notices from a jail cell that Charles is riding away on his horse with the Triforce of Wisdom in hand. Just then, it is revealed that Herald is actually a "giant, winged lizard" in disguise.[2]
