Spot
Spot is a character in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Biography
Spot is a unique Horse named for his beige coat and gray dappling.[2] By default, his Mane is styled as a Mohawk Mane. Despite his wild temperament, Spot is also known to be meek and scared of wandering far away.[3] Initially, Spot belongs to Lester,[1] who recalls that they used to share Swift Carrots with each other.[4]
Prior to the completion of the Mini Stable at Lookout Landing, Spot ran away from Lester.[1] During the "Spotting Spot" Side Quest, Link is tasked with locating Spot, who can be found on the Passeri Greenbelt southwest of Lookout Landing. When Link rides Spot back to Lester, he will be relieved to see he is safe.[5] As a reward, Lester will give Link a Purple Rupee.[6] Noticing that Spot seemed much happier as a Wild Horse, Lester decides to relinquish his ownership of him, though he invites Link to register him instead.[7]
If Link decides to register Spot at the Lookout Landing Mini Stable, Lester is relieved that they will be together.[8] Once the registration fee is payed, Lester requests that Link take care of Spot.[9] At this stage, Link is also able to change Spot's name.[10]
