Woods are large areas of land that contain a small density of trees and other plant life. Almost all of The Legend of Zelda games features a woodland with the exception of Phantom Hourglass, as the area of trees present on the islands are too scarce to be deemed in such a way.

- Woods of Winter, located south of Sunken City in Holodrum in Oracle of Seasons.
- Fairy Woods, also known as Forest of Fairies, located on Outset Island in The Wind Waker.
- Forbidden Woods, an isle in the Great Sea in The Wind Waker.
- Minish Woods, home to the Forest Picori in The Minish Cap
- Western Wood, located west of Hyrule Town in The Minish Cap.
- Faron Woods, located in the Faron Province, in Twilight Princess.
- Ordon Woods, located in the Ordona Province, in Twilight Princess.
