Autobuild

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

Autobuild is an ability in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Location and Uses

Autobuild is an Ancient Power that Link can use with his Right Arm, which can be found in the Great Abandoned Central Mine. It allows Link to generate Objects constructed with Ultrahand automatically, expending Zonaite should the component parts needed to build the object not be available in his nearby surroundings. Objects constructed with Autobuild using Zonaite rather than existing objects can be identified by their uniquely green appearance, showing that they were created synthetically. Objects built using Zonaite will be destroyed if detached from any other Objects.

The objects in question can be built based on either the most recently constructed objects Link has made, or by using pre-built Schematics from Schema Stones and Yiga Schematics. While older designs will automatically be cleared from Autobuild's memory as Link creates new objects, Link can designate a design as a Favorite to prevent it from being erased and make it more easily accessible. Up to eight Favorites can be saved in this fashion.
