For the ability in The Minish Cap, see Kinstone Fusion.

Fuse is an ability in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

Fuse is an ability that allows Link to bond any two Items or Objects.

Weapons can be Fused with other Weapons or Objects to increase their attack power, reach, or to provide them with additional abilities. For example, Weapons that are Fused with broad, flat Objects may generate gusts of wind, and fusing a weapon with a Ruby will grant it the ability to shoot fireballs. Fused Weapons will also have increased durability.[2] As most metallic weapons in Hyrule have been weakened by Gloom, Fuse is necessary to strengthen them in order to fight stronger enemies.

Arrows can be Fused with Materials to imbue them with special effects. Keese Eyeballs that are Fused with Arrows can home in on Enemies and Creatures with imprecise aim. Arrows Fused with icy Materials such as White Chuchu Jellies can freeze targets upon impact.

Shields can be Fused with Materials to imbue the Material's properties onto the Shield when struck or to increase their durability. For example, Puffshrooms will explode in a puff of smoke if Fused onto a Shield and struck by an Enemy, allowing Link an opportunity to sneak around them.
