For the ability in The Minish Cap, see Kinstone Fusion.

Fuse is an ability in Tears of the Kingdom.[name references needed]

Overview

Fuse is an ability that allows Link to bond any two Items or Objects.

Weapons can be Fused with other Weapons or Objects to increase their attack power, reach, or to provide them with additional abilities. For example, Weapons that are Fused with broad, flat Objects may generate gusts of wind.

Arrows can be Fused with Materials to imbue them with special effects. Keese Eyeballs that are Fused with Arrows can home in on Enemies and Creatures with imprecise aim. Arrows Fused with icy Materials such as White Chuchu Jellies can freeze targets upon impact.

Shields can be Fused with Materials to imbue the Material's properties onto the Shield when struck. For example, Puffshrooms will explode in a puff of smoke if Fused onto a Shield and struck by an Enemy, allowing Link an opportunity to sneak around them.
