Extreme Heat is a Temperature level. During high levels of Heat, Link will overheat and start to take damage. Its effects can be mitigated with Armor Sets or Foods that provide Heat Resistance.

Scorching Climate
The only Scorching Climate is located in the Eldin Canyon and the areas surrounding Death Mountain. In a Scorching Climate, wooden Weapons will burn. Link can avoid taking damage by drinking Fireproof Elixirs or wearing pieces of Fireproof Armor.
Snow
Snow occurs at high elevations, such as Mount Lanayru and the Hebra Mountains.
Temperature
Temperature is a fluctuating type of Weather that includes Heat, Scorching Climates, and Freezing Climates. It can be monitored from the Sheikah Slate.
Thunderstorm
Thunderstorms include the effects of Rain, in addition to many natural Lightning strikes. These Lightning strikes are attracted to equipment and Weapons made of metal.
Wind
Wind is a gust of air that travels in a random direction. Link can take advantage of Wind by gliding with his Paraglider.
