"A Guide through the Mists" is a Movie in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

"A Guide through the Mists" plays during the "Freeing Korok Forest" Scenario, immediately after the end of the Movie "To the Lost Woods". Upon entering the Lost Woods, the party discovered that it was covered in a thick fog.[2]

In the Lost Woods, Hestu can be seen disappearing as the party approaches. Link leads the group, while two Soldiers guard their rear. Mipha comments on the fog, and Revali complains that they could be walking in circles without knowing.[3] Hestu appears beside them, though none of them react to his presence. Daruk sarcastically suggests that Revali could fly above to scout the way, but Revali claims he would not be able to see anything.[4] Hestu shakes his Maracas in front of them to try and get their attention, to no avail. Urbosa also speaks up, pointing out that they could easily ambushed.[5]

Zelda starts to agree with Urbosa, but she trails off when she finally notices Hestu.[6] Hestu celebrates finally being seen, which draws the rest of the group's attention to him as well.[7] Daruk wonders where Hestu came from, and Zelda asks who he is.[8] Hestu introduces himself as someone who brings song and dance to Korok Forest, and Mipha realizes that he is a Korok[9]

Daruk requests Hestu's help navigating the Lost Woods, but Hestu reveals he has been unable to return to Korok Forest due to the Monsters in the Great Hyrule Forest.[10] Revali snarks that he would be able to sneak by them without his Maracas.[11] Urbosa dismisses Revali, assuring Hestu that they can clear out the Monsters so long as he leads the way.[12] This causes Hestu to cheer once more and beckon the group to follow.[13] Zelda and Mipha exchange a look with one another before following him.
