Determination
"Determination" is a Movie in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
"Determination" plays at the beginning of the Scenario "Akkala Tower", immediately after the "Akkala Tower (Part 1)" Narration finishes. The Movie takes place as Zelda prepares to depart for the Central Tower.[2]
Zelda walks through the Hyrule Castle Corridors, followed by Link and the Diminutive Guardian. She looks down at a piece of Ancient Technology in her hand. King Rhoam appears behind her, noting that she is still studying relics.[3] Link bows in his presence. King Rhoam asks Zelda if she has time o be focusing on Ancient Technology, and she is unable to defend herself.[4] After the Diminutive Guardian chirps at King Rhoam, Zelda is able to find the confidence to share her thoughts with her father.[2]
She explains that she found the relic with her mother, the late Queen of Hyrule, while they were exploring one day.[5] She hands it to King Rhoam, revealing that she and the Queen thought it contained hidden powers.[6] Zelda believes uncovering the purpose of such relics could help the effort to defeat Calamity Ganon, but King Rhoam cuts her off.[7] Zelda promises that, if allowed to participate in researching Ancient Technology, she would still dedicate herself to her training, but she still wants to help wherever she can.[8] However, King Rhoam accuses her of avoiding her duties.[2][9] Despite this, he allows her to continue her research, although he reminds her not to forget about unlocking her sealing power.[10] Zelda nods, before departing with Link and the Diminutive Guardian. As she leaves, King Rhoam looks down at the relic in his hand and sighs.
