"A Picture for Wetland Stable" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

When Link examines the Empty Frame at Wetland Stable, Lawdon will notice his interest.[2] He explains that it was provided to him by the Stable Association so that he can hang up a Picture for his guests.[3][4] Lawdon wants to display a painting of the Ring Ruins, since they are popular among the patrons of his Stable.[5] Although he can see the Ruins from the Stable, he is not close enough to paint them.[6] Following their conversation, "A Picture for Wetland Stable" will begin.

At Kakariko Village, Link is able to take a Picture of the Large Ring Ruin using the Camera, which he can then show to Lawdon.[7] When he sees the Picture, Lawdon asserts that it is just what he needed, and he asks for Link's permission to make his own copy.[8][9] If Link agrees, Lawdon expresses his shock at how large the Ring Ruins are.[10] He then proceeds to make his painting, assuring Link that he is talented enough to do so.[11] Once the Picture of the Ring Ruins is complete, Lawdon states that he is proud of it.[12]

Lawdon offers to replace the Picture of the Ring Ruins if Link brings him a new reference.[13] As a reward, Lawdon gives Link one Pony Point.[14] He also gifts Link an Electro Elixir, which he believes will be helpful for his journey.[15] Thanking Link, Lawdon invites him to visit Wetland Stable whenever he wants to.[16] Afterwards, "A Picture for Wetland Stable" will be completed.

They all fell around Kakariko Village in the southeast. My gosh, are they ever a hot topic with all the customers who come here! So I'd like to have a BIG painting of them to hang on the wall. One that shows that ring-like shape they have. — Lawdon (Tears of the Kingdom)
  6. But I can't paint that scene without seeing it. Sure, I can see some of the ruins from here, but it's all too far away to see well. Anyway, I'd really like to do up that painting, but I'm just not sure how to go about it. — Lawdon (Tears of the Kingdom)
