Bonus Chests are Objects in Breath of the Wild.^[1]

Location and Uses

Bonus Chests are special Treasure Chests that are made available upon purchasing the Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass. Three Bonus Chests will appear throughout the Great Plateau. They are identical to Hidden Chests and resemble Metal Chests but with purple bodies and the English letters "EX" on their faces.

Because Bonus Chests are metallic, they can conduct Electricity and may attract Lightning. They can be manipulated using the Magnesis and Stasis Runes. Both the Camera Rune and the Sheikah Sensor + functions of the Sheikah Slate treat Bonus Chests like any other Treasure Chest.
