Bravery Island
Bravery Island is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Features and Overview
Bravery Island is a towering Sky Island that is part of the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago in the Great Hyrule Forest Sky. It was the site of a Dive Ceremony for young Zonai to test their courage in ancient times.[2] Zonai would prove themselves in this rite of passage by diving through a set of rings leading to a pool at the bottom of the Island.[3] Link can participate in the Dive Ceremony by speaking to the facilitator of the Dive Ceremony, a lone Steward Construct, at the bottom of Bravery Island. Before Link can undergo the Ceremony, he must pass a trial run by passing through the rings without a time limit.[4]
When Link completes the trial run, the Simosiwak Shrine will appear at the bottom of the Island and he will be allowed to attempt the Dive Ceremony for the price of one Zonai Charge.[5][6] In order to complete the Dive Ceremony, Link must pass through all of the rings in 35 seconds or less.[7] If Link successfully does so, he will be given the Glide Tights as a reward.[8] By beating the current record in the Dive Ceremony, Link will also receive a Large Zonai Charge and be registered as the new record holder.[9][10]
