Zonaite Forge Island is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

Link activating the Terminal at the base of the Island

The Zonaite Forge Island is a tall Sky Island on the border of the East Necluda Sky and West Necluda Sky. It is part of the Necluda Sky Archipelago and is constructed with several large pipes jutting from its sides. The Zonaite Forge Island is high enough in the Sky that the Light Dragon may pass by it at its original altitude. At the base of the Island, there is a Terminal which sits before a barred chamber. By activating the Terminal, the pipes surrounding the Island will begin pumping air, creating Updrafts. By riding these Updrafts, Link can access the Island's top, which features a hollow column filled with six sets of lasers. Before the Terminal is activated, this column will be obstructed with a hatch, preventing entry. If Link touches any of the lasers, the column will close, preventing access to the central room at the base of the Island.

Inside the central room, there is a large basin filled with Lava. At the center of the basin's top, there is a pool of Water, which functions like a Hot Spring because of the heat from the Lava. Surrounding the basin, there is a double-sided staircase, which leads to a floor surrounding and connecting to the top of the basin. Decayed Constructs can be found littered around this room, and two small towers to the southeast and west of the basin. The Yansamin Shrine is also located southeast of the basin. Once the Yansamin Shrine is completed, the gate between the interior and exterior will open.[note 1] Northwest of the basin is a Device Dispenser.
