Wellspring Island is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

Related Quests

Wellspring Island is the largest Sky Island in the Lanayru Great Spring Sky. The Gravity in the area is low, resulting in Link jumping higher than usual. It is the origin of the Watery Bridge, which connects it to the Lanayru Great Spring below. The Water Temple is also located on top of Wellspring Island.

After Link defeats Mucktorok in the Water Temple, Mei can be found on one of the eastern Sky Islands attempting to catch some Fish.[2] She explains that she was led there by her heart and that due to the low Gravity, she is able to catch Fish simply by jumping around.[3]

ALSO, because my body floats somehow, I can catch fish while hopping around! It's the best!" — Mei (Tears of the Kingdom)
