Themes and Navigation

The interior of the Shrine

The Igoshon Shrine bears a low Gravity throughout its interior. Its entrance chamber features a single platform that periodically releases Water Globules which rise into the air over a ledge onto the second level. From this ledge, Link can view a floating device that endlessly generates a wooden Treasure Chest that falls into the abyss below. Along the wall to the left is a second Water Globule generator, which releases stationary Water Globules. The Water Globules produced from this generator may be used with Ultrahand to capture the falling Treasure Chest and pull it to safety.

Link catching the Treasure Chest with a Water Globule

A lattice floor on the second level catches downward-moving Water Globules from the third level. By using Recall, Link can climb to the third level through a Water Globule. The third level consists of a horizontal Water Globule generator set in the wall above a lattice floor that ramps at an angle. Due to this angle, Water Globules released by the generator will bounce and redirect upward to the fourth level.

On the fourth level, there is a stone block along attached to a rail. This rail intersects with the trajectory of a Water Globule generator, which pushes Water Globules horizontally in the direction of the fifth and final level. However, due to the difference in height, these Water Globules are unable to reach the fifth level. Along the floor of the fourth level, there is a Metal Plate, which can be used with the railed block to create a makeshift ramp that redirects the Water Globules toward the end of the Shrine.

A Statue of Rauru and Sonia can be found at the end of the Igoshon Shrine. By interacting with the Terminal in front of the Statue, Link can receive a Light of Blessing to cleanse the corruption of Darkness from within him.[3][4]
