Spirit's Grave
The Spirit's Grave is the first Dungeon in Oracle of Ages.[1] It is located in Yoll Graveyard, in present-day mid eastern Labrynna.
Entrance to the Grave
The entrance to the Dungeon is found in a specific area of Yoll Graveyard that can only be accessed once the gates found in the northern part of the Graveyard have been opened. To access the dungeon, Link must find the Graveyard Key in a Cave not too far from the Dungeon itself, and use it to open the Cemetery Gate.
The Spirit's Grave, as its name and location would suggest, is an eerie, mausoleum-like Dungeon that fixates on the undead. Being the first Dungeon accessed by Link, it is quite simple in its puzzles. This Dungeon is home to the Giant Ghini, who serves as the Grave's Miniboss. The Giant Ghini is accompanied by three respawning smaller ghouls, who cling to Link and impede his movement (much like Gels), making it easier for the Giant Ghini to strike. Once Link defeats the Miniboss with his Sword, he can proceed through the Dungeon. Later on in the Dungeon, Link will come across the Power Bracelet, which will allow him to lift the Pot blocking the Treasure Chest which contains the Dungeon's Boss Key. With this Key, Link can access the Dungeon's Boss Room, which houses Pumpkin Head. Once Link defeats the Boss, he can claim the Eternal Spirit, the first Essence of Time.
There is a room in the Dungeon that represents a map of the Dungeon. It shows some information that is not on the regular map. All the rooms are represented by gray floor tiles; Pits show the three squares in the map that are not rooms. Blue Statues show the Miniboss and Boss. Two Torches show the Essence room and a secret room. An Armos Statue represents the room Link is in. A secret room is visible on this map, as well as with the Compass. To enter the room, Link can burn a vine wall with Ember Seeds located to the west of the room where he finds the Compass. Inside this secret room, a Treasure Chest with a Magic Ring can be found.
The map of the Dungeon is in the shape of a flame. It resembles the Eternal Spirit essence found within the Dungeon.

- Yoll Graveyard occupies the area that was once the Sea of No Return. In the past era, a similar Dungeon to the Spirit's Grave—the Ancient Tomb—exists in this area. Therefore, the Spirit's Grave may be somehow connected to (if not a part of) the Ancient Tomb.
