The Sah Dahaj Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Power of Fire,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Sah Dahaj Shrine is hidden within a gorge directly north of Cephla Lake in Eldin. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Sah Dahaj.[2]

Themes and Navigation

The Sah Dahaj Shrine consists of three connected rooms. The first room has a pair of torches among a growth of leafy vines, one of which has fallen. These vines conceal a passage in the wall to the next room. The vines can be burned away by using the fire from the torches; the fallen torch can be knocked toward the vines using a Weapon.

The passage leads to another chamber where in the corner are more vines and a suspended lamp overhead, as well as a Guardian Scout II. The lamp's cable can be snapped by striking it, thus burning the vines below and revealing another passage.

The third chamber has a sealed door and a Floor Switch enclosed in a barred cell. Above the Switch is a slab suspended by two crates. The crates can be destroyed by igniting the vines that lead to them, thus dropping the slab and activating the Floor Switch. This opens the door.

Through the door is the Monk's Pedestal. When spoken to, Sah Dahaj presents Link with a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial.[3] The Monk then wishes Link well before fading away.[4]

In the room is before the Monk's Pedestal is a Treasure Chest suspended by a wooden platform with vines leading to it. Burning the vines will destroy the platform and drop the Chest, which contains a Knight's Bow.
