The Jirutagumac Shrine,[1] designated by the trial name A Flying Device,[1] is a Shrine of Light in Tears of the Kingdom.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Jirutagumac Shrine is located within the spherical Sky Island in the northern Lanayru Sky Archipelago, which is part of the Lanayru Great Spring Sky.[2]

Themes and Navigation

The interior of the Shrine

The entrance room to the Jirutagumac Shrine is a massive chamber with three separate floors set above an abyss. The first floor is connected to the entrance and features three downward-facing ramps. A Wing will endlessly appear along the rails on the middle ramp, flying into the abyss. To the left of this floor there is a second floor with a downward-facing ramp and two endlessly appearing Carts which similarly roll off of the ramp into the abyss. By merging a Wing onto a Cart, Link can create a Vehicle capable of crossing to the floor on the right from the entrance.

The right-hand floor features a lone Fan, which can also be merged to the Vehicle to provide it with the necessary thrust to cross the abyss to the end of the Shrine. Along the wall above this floor, there is a lattice floor sitting over a gap in the floor below. By making use of the Zonai Devices in the Jirutagumac Shrine, Link can create a makeshift bridge to stand beneath the lattice and Ascend to it.

A Statue of Rauru and Sonia can be found at the end of the Jirutagumac Shrine. By interacting with the Terminal in front of the Statue, Link can receive a Light of Blessing to cleanse the corruption of Darkness from within him.[3][4]
