The New Road is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

The New Road was created by the cooling of Lava in Eldin Canyon after Death Mountain's eruption stopped.[1] Afterwards, it became an alternative pathway to Goron City, with the other being the Mountain Road. It starts north of Woodland Stable, traveling along the dried riverbed of the Goronbi River before it joins the Mountain Road. The Bedrock Bistro can be found at the end of a fork in the New Road.

So a while back, Death Mountain was super active—we're talking full-force, non-stop, red-hot lava. But now the lava's all cooled down and hardened. It's even—ugh, I hate to say it—made a new road that's easy to walk! And ease, my friend, is the opposite of the "red hot" lifestyle." — Molo (Tears of the Kingdom)
