Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Foothill Stable is nestled along Ternio Trail in eastern Trilby Valley, right at the entrance to Eldin Canyon. The Stable is surrounded by rugged hills and cliffs, giving it its name. On the eastern cliff stands the Mo'a Keet Shrine, which when activated, can be used as a convenient Travel Gate to the Stable. The Foothill Stable contains every amenity characteristic to Stables, including Horse services, providing lodging, and a Cooking Pot for Cooking. Several Wooden Boxes are left outside which can be broken for small Items.
As with all other Stables, Beedle can be found within or in front of Foothill Stable, where he sells his wares. Kass the Rito bard can be found at the Stable, who when spoken to, will offer to sing Link an "Ancient Song".[4] The travelers Boldon, Dayto, Kairo, Karsh, and Zorona all stop at Foothill Stable on their journeys.
A worker at Foothill Stable named Gaile sells Fireproof Elixirs to travelers who are intending to brave the Scorching Climate of Eldin Canyon.[5] She will sell one Elixir for 60 Rupees, two for 110, and three for 150.[6] In addition to this, a poster inside the Stable depicts a Recipe for Fireproof Elixirs.
Inside the Stable is a large Painting depicting Trilby Valley and the Foothill Stable. One of the Stable's regulars, Mayro, can be found admiring the Painting. Mayro states that it was painted by Ozunda.[7] He believes that the Stable depicted in the Painting was painted from the southern direction.[8] The Painting provides a clue to the location of the Tah Muhl Shrine, and speaking with Mayro initiates the "A Landscape of a Stable" Shrine Quest.
The Foothill Stable is run by Ozunda, who mans both its Horse services and lodging.[9][10] When staying at Foothill Stable, Link can choose to Sleep in either a regular Bed for 20 Rupees or a soft Bed for 40 Rupees.[11] Ozunda explains that the soft Bed leaves its users feeling more energized when they wake up.[12] If Link decides to stay at the Stable, Ozunda offers to wake him up in the morning, at noon, or in the evening.[13] Once Link makes his choice, Ozunda will send him off to Sleep.[14][15] When Link wakes up, Ozunda will greet him.[16][17][18] By Sleeping in the soft Bed, Link will receive an Extra Heart when he wakes up.

I happen to know a song about the ancient hero. It was passed down to me by my teacher. Do you care to hear it?

That place is sheer cliff after sheer cliff, and it gets so hot past the second checkpoint that your body will catch fire. Normally I wouldn't stop a stranger from heading to their doom, but I kinda like ya. So I guess I have no choice but to sell you these fireproof elixirs. They can protect you from the burning air.

It's 60 rupees for one, 110 rupees for two, and 150 rupees for three. Buying in bulk pays off here!

This painting was made by Ozunda, the owner of this stable, or so I hear.
— Mayro (Breath of the Wild) - ↑
I think the stable was painted from a southern direction... The composition is just so impressive...

Welcome! Welcome to our fine stable! Do you want to register a horse? Take one out to ride?
— Ozunda (Breath of the Wild) - ↑
Welcome! Will you be staying with us?

A regular bed will cost you 20 rupees. A soft bed is 40.
— Ozunda (Breath of the Wild) - ↑
[What's the soft bed?] The soft bed is a special bed we're proud to offer here at the stable. It costs more than a regular bed, but you'll wake up more energized.
