This article is about the location destroyed in the second Great Calamity. For the location in its ruined state, see Rauru Settlement Ruins. For the location in The Adventure of Link, see Rauru Town.

Rauru Settlement is a location in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Features and Overview

Rauru Settlement was a Hylian village located just south of the Military Training Camp,[2] along the edge of Rauru Hillside in the Great Hyrule Forest. Due to its proximity to Hyrule Castle, it was destroyed during the second Great Calamity and became the Rauru Settlement Ruins.[3][1] In the time since, it appears to have undergone a landslide, and, as such, would be very difficult to restore to its former capacity.[1]

Nomenclature

Rauru Settlement is named for Rauru, a Sage from Ocarina of Time.[4]
