The Sword Troops,[1] also known as the New Unit,[2] are a group in Tears of the Kingdom.
Biography
The Sword Troops are a sect of the Gerudo Soldiers trained to fight with a Gerudo Scimitar and a Gerudo Shield. Following the First Encounter, Liana noticed that the use of Gerudo Spears left Soldiers open to attacks from the Gibdos, and so she created the Sword Troops as a result.[3] If Link attempts to talk to the Sword Troops while they are training in the Gerudo Shelter, Liana will tell him off.[citation needed]
