Properties
Atk 16

Gerudo Scimitars are one-handed Weapons made by the Gerudo. They are commonly wielded by Gerudo women, especially travelers that journey through the Gerudo Desert.[1] They belong to the Gerudo Gear equipment archetype.[4] People who carry Gerudo Scimitars are often seen carrying Gerudo Shields as well. They are common in the Gerudo Desert, particularly around Gerudo Town and the Kara Kara Bazaar, as well as in the Gerudo Highlands.

Gerudo Scimitars can be found inside Gerudo Town. They may also be wielded by Enemies throughout the Gerudo Desert, such as Electric Lizalfos. The Breath of the Wild Series Urbosa amiibo also has a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Gerudo Scimitar when it is scanned by the amiibo Rune. A Gerudo Scimitar is required to remake the Scimitar of the Seven, along with five pieces of Flint and a Diamond.[5]

Due to being made of metal, Gerudo Scimitars will attract Lightning if they are equipped during a Thunderstorm, and they can also conduct Electricity. They will sink if they are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up and manipulated using the Magnesis Rune. In addition, Gerudo Scimitars are unable to burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
