The Latest Trend is an Object in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Location and Uses

The Latest Trend is the ninth of 13 Ancient Tablets found on Small Islands throughout the Sky. It can be found in the northern part of the Necluda Sea Sky, but when Link stands on the central part of the Island, the Ancient Tablet will fall towards Hateno Beach below. If Link inspects the Tablet, he will be unable to understand its contents.[2] As part of the "Messages from an Ancient Era" Side Adventure, Link can bring a Picture of the Ancient Tablet to Wortsworth, who will provide him with a translation.[3]

The Ancient Tablet recounts a trend of Mushroom-themed clothing in the ancient past, inspired by Zelda's claim that it was popular where she came from.[4] Wortsworth compares it to Cece's clothing in Hateno Village, which is also themed after Mushrooms.[5] He also notes how the chamberlain's interest in fashion humanizes her.[6] To reward Link for bringing him the Picture, Wortsworth will give him a Silver Rupee.[7] After seeing Pictures of all Ancient Tablets, Wortsworth will display of copy of The Latest Trend's translation on the Zonai Survey Team Base's wall.[8]

The Latest Trend

Fashion now favors garments adorned with mushroom patterns, and far and wide are they worn.

This taste for mushrooms comes of the castle's seamstress, who sought to sew clothes to please princess Zelda.

This fashion, Zelda told to the seamstress, was in her true home well loved.

In her time were ever patterns of bright hues, in the shape of mushrooms.

Now our handy seamstress set heart on copying these patterns, which sell to many happy people.

I searched after some for my own but I could not find one.
