A Giant Eye Plant appears after Link sets out to find the island where the Spirit of Courage lies. He is ambushed by a large creature very similar to the regular Eye Plants found across the sea. This creature attempt to sink Linebeck's Boat by shooting giant spiked balls, but Link is able to defeat it by staying in motion and aiming for the monster's one weakness: its eye. The Giant Eye Plant again appears after returning to Bannan Island after giving the Old Wayfarer the Wood Heart.
